YES. Everything was like a chain reaction that just slippery-sloped into what we saw in the eps of last season. Yeah, I was pretty pissed off the whole ep what with the indiscriminate shooting as people were possessed by evil bug slug. The tension in that ep was mostly "WTF is going to be possessed now and they just fucking killed off Gwen and Rufus, like what?" Ah, Gwen, you had so much potential, but you got killed off before anything could be made of it.
In the beginning of the season, I tried to write off the OT as Gamble getting her sea legs as a showrunner and they're trying something new. I hoped that there would be payoff later and there would be brilliance to make up for it. Now, though, it's just a choppy mess that ruined one of my fav characters. *sighs with you*
