Man, your brain makes me happy. It's like, when you put things into words they make sense? Anyway, it is brilliant.
I never thought of the show as noirish before (I know, I know, I'm just slow) but OF COURSE. Of fucking course. *facepalm* Which kind of makes me feel a dozen times worse about Castiel, for reasons I can't actually put into eloquent words. Just that it's the same reason I feel badly for all of them... that loss of innocence in a world where everyone might turn around and stab you in the back because it's the done thing.
