I always thought "slash goggles" meant, "looking for homoromantic subtext". Of course when I do ship a pairing I do think that they'd want to have sex eventually but it's not about sex to me, never has been. I rarely ever read through porn scenes in fiction because most of them bore me to tears. That's not the part of a relationship that interests me - I'm only interested in the dynamic between two characters. So essentially, I agree. Awesome post :)
